Barron XEB-30-B-LM Emergency Ballast 1450-3000 Lm - 2xT5-T12

The new construction project is nearly complete. Now it's your job to make sure that those brilliantly installed fluorescent lights remain in tact and are able to function regularly - even during a power outage. Our Barron brand electronic ballast (model XEB-30-B-LM) will provide emergency illuminated power for your lights for up to 90 minutes.

Composed with industry grade steel, this ballast operates fluorescent tubes (T5, T8, T10, T12) and CFL (quad-pin) lighting units. It produces power with an instant start method, which is when the device sends a high amount of moderate voltage to the fixture during the process of switching to emergency mode. The ballast works in combination with the normal AC power transformer, it's actually resting until called upon.

Application

This unique ballast can be mounted either on the top of the fluorescent lamp or through its electrical enclosure. It’s U.L. Listed for retrofit or factory installation. Also has capability to be mounted remotely by battery pack, as long as the distance doesn’t exceed ½ the distance between ballast and lamp.

External Specifications

Built in a painted steel case, the XEB-30-B-LM model not only can be used as an emergency mode but also for normal operation. Includes a battery, charger and electronic circuit.
