The AK400PLS-208 solid state emergency ballast will keep the electrical arc your PSMH lamp at full brightness for up to 2-minutes using an internal ni-cd battery. It works in tandem with your normal single-tap 208vAC reactor, high-reactance autotransformer or constant wattage autotransformer style magnetic ballast.

Application
The AK400PLS-208 will maintain the arc of a 200-400 watt pulse start HID lamp during sudden power losses. If the power failure continues, the arc keeper allows your emergency DC generator enough time to warm up before switching over to the emergency circuit.

Our AK400PLS-208 has a low profile steel casing finished with an anti-corrosive white powder coat. A charging indicator light on the side of the housing allows for constant battery monitoring. This HID backup ballast has three convenient mounting holes on each end for easy attachment to the fixture or remote transformer box.
