Bodines R&D teams have made significant changes to the older B60U, employing the latest digital technology into a shiny red case thats also not bad to look at. The BDL60U is compatible with newer energy-saving CFL and linear fluorescent AC ballasts as well as older electromagnetic models. It also has end-of-lamp life (EOL) time delay circuits which prevents the AC ballast from shutting down when the bulbs lose power during brief power delays or hiccups in the grid.

The BDL60U comes in a shiny red metal case that encloses the circuitry and helps identify it from the normal AC ballast. The device should not be used in explosive industrial environments or air handling ducts. It has the same mounting center and dimensions as the outdated B60U, making it the perfect crossover unit.
