The AK400PLS-240 digital emergency backup ballast will keep your pulse start HID lamp at full luminosity during these sudden fluctuations, maintaining the bulb for up to 2-minutes. This emergency battery pack works in conjunction with your normal 240-volt reactor, high-reactance autotransformer or constant wattage autotransformer style magnetic ballast and ignitor.

Application
The AK400PLS-240 arc keeper continues the electrical flow to your bulb and affords your emergency backup generator to come online, warm up and eventually take over. This "smart" ballast will regulate itself and switch to DC mode automatically. It is ideal for European and Middle Eastern businesses that use a 240vAC line input.

Its low profile design can fit in most ballast boxes and flood lights, and the steel casing is finished with an white powder coat that protects from corrosion.
